Manifolds play an important role in assembling pumps in booster sets. Manifolds for pumps are divided into suction manifolds and delivery manifolds and are used to connect several pumping units in parallel when a greater flow rate is required, both in the case of domestic water supply and in various industrial applications.
The use of stainless steel for making the manifolds has considerable advantages. In addition to the resistance and hygiene of the material, the thin thickness of the main pipe is added which, together with the smooth surface, results in minimal pressure drops .
A greater flow rate is often required in industrial systems and systems for handling sanitary and drinking water. To connect several pumps together, stainless steel suction manifolds are available, ideal for guaranteeing maximum hydraulic efficiency.
MONDEO manifolds are made of stainless steel (stainless steel Aisi 304). Characterized by a thin thickness of the main tube which increases the internal surface for the passage of the fluid and a TIG welding of the threaded parts, the manifolds have pressure drops reduced to a minimum. The NEW DUAL / A 2P manifolds for booster sets are used to connect two pumping units in order to obtain a greater water flow. They are suitable for moving sanitary water and drinking water. In addition to the water-sanitary sector, they are used in water purification or industrial water treatment plants and work at a nominal operating pressure (PN) of 16 bar.
