SWITCHMATIC 2 3 hp electronic pressure switch with amperometric protection

This SWITCHMATIC 2 unit is an electronic pressure switch with integrated digital pressure gauge. It can manage the starting and stopping of single-phase electric pumps up to 3 HP (2.2 kW). The implementation of the on and off pressure can be set easily and precisely via the intuitive control panel. The wiring is identical to that of a traditional electromechanical switch, it can operate as a differential pressure switch or as an inverted pressure switch.

SWITCHMATIC 2 also features instantaneous current reading and can be mounted individually or in groups of 2 synchronized pumps operating in cascade with alternating operating sequence. This patented version controls and manages overcurrent, dry-running protection of the pump and rapid cycling protection. The SWITCHMATIC 2A unit includes an alarm output.

OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS
– ART function (Automatic Reset Test). If the device has been stopped due to the intervention of the dry-running safety system, the ART attempts to activate the pump, with a programmed periodicity because the water supply may have restored.

– Bright: Press Start or Press Stop displayed.
– Flashing: Psart or Pstop setting.
– Buttons: increase or decrease configuration parameters.
– ENTER button:
– Manual start and stop.
– Confirm the configuration value.
– Alarm LED (red): dry running and fast cycles.
– Led-light “A” (yellow):
– Bright: Displays the instantaneous current consumption of the pump.
– Flashing: Setting of the maximum current of the pump.

– Button “A”: sets and displays the intensity of the current.
